Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram K M Munshi Marg, Jaipur organised 3D Kalam and Technocraft Bootcamp from October 30 to November 1, 2023.It was a highly successful event designed to promote experiential learning, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills among students. The bootcamp facilitated comprehensive skill development and experiential learning opportunities, empowering students to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. The event was a collaborative effort of BVB, Jaipur, and Class 24 Afterskool. The three day camp, provided students with a rich and immersive experience .The bootcamp commenced with an opening ceremony. The Co-Founder, Class 24 Afterskool, Mr. Ankit Singhal , delivered an inspiring talk on the significance of STEM education, innovation, and problem-solving. The students participated in hands-on workshops and activities that introduced them to 3D Pens technology, Paper Circuits and foundational STEM principles. Students of classes’ I-IV learned the concepts of Electricity including Flow of Current and about good and bad conductors of Electricity through Role Plays. The second day focused on team-based problem-solving challenges that encouraged collaborative thinking and innovative solutions to real-world problems. The students from classes V-VII were given access 3D Pens and other equipment’s where they gained practical insights into these technologies and the logics of design thinking. The students from classes’ I-IV prepared Electrical Torches using the kits provided to them by Afterskool .They learnt about the concept of a switch and flow of current. Students were delighted to carry their products home. On the third day the students showcased their skills and creativity in solving complex, real-world challenges. The students of classes’ I-IV created their own models using 3d Pen, while the students of classes V-VII created their own models using a 3D Pen and were confident that a technology that they have witnessed on You-tube can be used for creating their own models. The event concluded with an awards ceremony, recognizing and celebrating the outstanding projects and innovative solutions developed by the students. The Bootcamp was a tremendous success in promoting experiential learning, STEM education, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
