Children’s Day Celebration

“Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured as they are the future of our nation and citizens of tomorrow.” Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru

Children’s Day was celebrated with great zeal in the Primary Section on 12th November 2021. Vidyashram’s Fungama was a memorable event as the children and their parents were invited to be a part of the interesting activities and rides which was well-received by them. The teachers of classes I and II made the Children’s Day special by involving the children into an array of fun activities like ringing the article, blindfold game, dancing to peppy numbers and talk on the significance of this day. Students riding decorated bicycles conveyed the message - Go Green, Go Cycling helps environment, health and wallet. In the Craft Corner, they tried hands-on experience of making envelopes using newspaper and were encouraged to ‘say no to plastics’. They enjoyed rides like the Giant Wheel, Columbus, swings and slides amidst the enchanting music and captured the unforgettable memories in their cameras. Children also posted their thanksgiving message on the Gratitude Tree. It was an enjoyable learning experience for the kids.

The class teachers of classes III to V organized many fun-filled activities in online classes. The children, dressed up in their favourite outfits, participated enthusiastically in the fun games and also showcased their talents. The students attending offline classes enjoyed watching the movie- ‘The Good Dinosaur’ in the school Auditorium. They were surprised to see a dance performance by their teachers and cheered for them. The teachers clicked their photographs at the selfie points on the decorated stage.
