Founded in 1938 by Dr. K.M. Munshi, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is today an All-India Intellectual, Cultural and Educational movement dedicated to the twin tasks of interpreting the age-old yet ageless message of our country and of integrating our varied and vibrant culture with the changing needs of the present-day world.

During over seven decades of its existence the Bhavan has come to be recognized as a symbol of India's glorious past and as a comprehensive National Institution with an international outlook touching all facets of life and enriching all spheres of activity.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan conducts classes from Kindergarten to Post-Graduate, Research and Imparts Education in subjects ranging from Carnatic Music to Computers, from Sanskrit to Business Management and from Yoga to Journalism.
This is being accomplished through its centres spread all over the country and abroad, its constitutional institutions, its various publications and educational programmes.

Bhavan’s Vidyshram, K.M.Munshi Marg, Jaipur runs under the aegis of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. It is one of the premier institutions of Rajasthan which was established in 1985. It is spread over an area of 20 acres of land. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education with classes from I to XII. Since its inception, Bhavan’s Vidyashram has strived to provide quality education that focuses on academic excellence, active learning and commitment to the environment. It also strives to draw inspiration from the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India and gives the students, independence in thoughts, life skills and a competitive edge required to meet the challenges.
