Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram celebrated its 38th Annual day on Saturday, November 26th 2022 in the School Auditorium with renewed vigour and enthusiasm.
The Chief Guest of the programme were Shri D.B. Gupta (IAS) Chief Information Commissioner and former Chief Secretary of Rajasthan. The School Vice Chairman Shri Rajeev Jain presided over the ceremony.
The guests were given a traditional welcome and were brought in the auditorium amidst Vedic Chanting. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by Sarva Dharm Prayer. Students presented ‘Shiva Panchakshar Stotra’ along with the melliflucous tunes of Rangeela Shambhu.
The School Principal Smt. Pratima Sharma presented the Annual Report of the school.
Students from instrumental department presented a foot tapping and awestruck tabla recital of Shiv Tandav Stotra. Next program continued with a soulful rendition of Meera’s hymns. The highlight of the programme depicting the dance, the drama ‘Swaraj Ki Hunkaar’ portraying the snippets of the epic Rajput King Mahrana Pratap Singh Sisodia of Mewar. The dances included in this drama enthralled the performers and audience alike. The presentation was a riot of flamboyant colours and costumes and had everyone foot tapping.
Star achievers and top performers of academic year 2021-22 were honoured by the Chief Guest. The Honourable Chief Guest congratulated and complimented the students for their extra ordinary performance in academics as well as co- curricular activities.
The Vice Chairman Shri Rajeev Jain, blessed the students and wished them the best in their future endeavours. The school Cultural Secretary Mehul Sarda proposed the vote of thanks. The programme culminated with National Anthem.
